Huawei opens Mexico Training Center in Mexico City

Huawei Technologies, a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, today officially launched Huawei Mexico Training Center in Mexico City, marking that a full-dimensional 3-level service system for Mexico market has been accomplished, ranging from HQ in China, Regional in Brazil, to Local in Mexico. The setup of Huawei Mexico Training Center demonstrates Huawei\'s commitment to a long-term partnership of Mexican market.

 

The Mexico Operations Hub including the Training Center covers around 2000 square meters, involving an investment of around US$20 million. The center is equipped with 5 laboratories of UMTS, CDMA, NGN, Optical, and Datacomm for hands-on practices. The training center is capable to accommodate over 300 students at the same time, offering technical courses both in English and Spanish, according to customers\' demand. Mexico-resident professional instructors and experts from HQ in charge of specific educational programs will keep Mexican market informed with the latest cutting-edge technologies and solutions of the industry.

 

Mexican telecom industry is one of the most important markets, throughout Latin America, and with great potential growth in the region. As Mexican operators rapidly expand their influence in the Latin-American region, Huawei has sensed the urgency to address the needs of the country regarding the rural coverage, more new diversified services and their fast delivery to the market.

China Business Counselor and Mexican mainstream operators witnessed the ribbon-cutting at the inauguration ceremony for the training Center at the Mexican Operations Hub.
