November 14 2006

Sandvine Incorporated, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sandvine Corporation (TSX:SVC; AIM:SAND), today announced that Gigared, a leading Argentinean broadband provider, has selected Sandvine’s intelligent broadband solutions to deliver high-quality multimedia services to its 20,000 high-speed subscribers.  Sandvine’s Argentinean-based partner, Esco Cable will provide Gigared with local market expertise, consulting services, product implementation and support for Sandvine’s award-winning network equipment and solutions.

Gigared selected Sandvine for their unique deep packet inspection (DPI)-based policy solutions, combining signature recognition and behavioural analysis to relieve network congestion, while enhancing the Internet experience for their subscribers.

\"Sandvine’s intelligent broadband management equipment supports our commitment to offer customers the most innovative, state-of-the-art, and cost-effective solutions,\" said Juan Garcia Bish, Director of Technology, Gigared.  \"Sandvine allows us to identify our subscribers’ online usage behavior, so we can offer them exceptional multimedia services that meet their needs.\"

\"Sandvine is pleased to be working with Gigared as they grow their network in the emerging Argentinean broadband market and we grow our Latin American presence,\" Tom Donnelly, executive VP marketing and sales, Sandvine Incorporated.  \"With visibility into their network, Gigared will have subscriber and application-awareness to maximize the value of their network infrastructure, while ensuring subscribers get the most out of their high-speed connection.\"

Sandvine’s intelligent broadband management solutions give service providers tools to identify emerging applications, reduce network congestion, protect subscribers and their applications, and ensure quality of service (QoS) to enhance subscribers’ Internet experience.
