FutureIT Inc. (FITI.OB), a leading provider of software solutions for the automated and effective management of Microsoft SQL servers, today announced its expanded market penetration in Central America, beginning in Guatemala with a planned regional expansion throughout Central America including Costa Rica, El Salvador and Honduras. FutureIT\'s flagship product, EZManage SQL Pro, provides a centralized all-in-one software solution for multiple SQL Servers, handling optimization, maintenance, monitoring, encrypted backup, restore and DRP tasks. FutureIT\'s products dramatically reduce the risk of loss of critical data in SQL Server databases by automating database maintenance and allowing for better system performance and fewer system crashes.
Working together with local distributor Inforum, FutureIT has seen considerable success in the SME market in Guatemala. Based in Guatemala with offices throughout Central America, Inforum has a large range of clients across a multitude of industries including manufacturing, construction, wholesalers, retailers and the service industry. According to the Central Bank of Guatemala, Guatemala registered the highest economic growth in Central America during the first seven months of 2009, and the growth trend appears to be continuing.
Commenting on the recent expansion, Ms. Chen Scaldman, FutureIT\'s VP sales and development, said \"We see the successful market penetration of Central America as a key step in our planned expansion in Latin America. We are very pleased with the work we have done with Inforum, and see this as the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship.\" Ms. Scaldman recently returned from the first part of a series of seminars that she ran in Guatemala, and already has plans to return in early November due to the incredible demand. \"Inforum\'s strong presence in Guatemala and throughout the region has allowed us to meet users and plan in-house seminars directly. We have already scheduled a series of presentations to Microsoft Guatemala\'s customers and see that we will rapidly progress from there.\"
